You as the hose Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling various components, parts, or products within a manufacturing or production environment. You would typically work with a variety of tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure the accurate and efficient assembly of items according to specifications. If you are really good at paying attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and have the ability to follow technical instructions then you may be a great fit for this position!!
What you'll be doing:
* Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling tools, equipment, and materials to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assembly of Components: Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, or work instructions to assemble components or products according to specifications.
* Operate Machinery and Tools: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly tasks efficiently and accurately.
* Quality Control: Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Report and address any defects or issues identified during the assembly process.
* Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime.
* Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, such as engineers, quality control personnel, or supervisors, to ensure smooth production processes.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, issues encountered, and steps taken to rectify them for future reference.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Technical Aptitude: Understanding of mechanical and technical concepts related to assembly processes.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on intricate tasks and ensure accuracy in assembly work.
* Problem-Solving: Capacity to identify issues during assembly and apply troubleshooting skills to resolve problems.
* Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.
* Team Player: Capability to work collaboratively in a team-based manufacturing environment.
* Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the workday.
* Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication to report issues, follow instructions, and collaborate with team members effectively.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
* Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is beneficial.
* Familiarity with assembly tools, machinery, and quality control processes
