Job Type Full-timeDescriptionKleen-Rite Corp. is hiring for a Hose Assembly Warehouse Associate. This is a position that requires high attention to detail. The Hose Assembly Warehouse Associate will be responsible for accurately assembling build items, ensuring proper requirements and specifications are used while creating the product. This individual may also prepare items for shipment, as needed within their department. The ideal candidate must have work experience showing that they are detail-orientated, ensuring accuracy with orders.This position does require experience showing attention to detail and the ability to work independently with accuracy.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Follow all established procedures for each department within the Distribution Location, including all maintenance and safety procedures.
  • Achieve proficiency standards within each department, as directed by your supervisor and set by the respective Distribution Center Manager. Individuals are expected to meet department standards when completing tasks across various departments.
  • Hose Assembly Duties: Accurately read and complete work orders within NetSuite, to ensure product is made to the order specifications; Read and interpret product prints and/or catalogs; Preparing assembled product for shipment to the customer; Inspect all hoses to insure they meet quality requirements and manufacturing specs
  • Set up and operation of the following types of assembly equipment: Saw, Hose Cutter, Hydraulic Crimper, Pipe Threader, Air powered tools and various hand tools.
  • Use of measuring devices such as calipers and tapes for measurement of length
  • Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures
  • Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner observing all safety requirements
  • Achieve individual and departmental performance goals and objectives with general supervision.
  • Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be willing and able to learn new technology and computer programs such as: RF Scanners, Printing Programs, components of MS Office Suite and NetSuite.
  • Must be able to operate a fork-lift, pallet-jack, stretch wrapper, assembly equipment, cutting equipment and other warehouse equipment as necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to accurately repackage products and accurately count in large numbers of products.
  • Be punctual, reliable, and prepared for work during work days and hours.
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to read documents written in Standard English text.
  • Enjoy working independently as well as in a team-environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Must work within the framework of the Kleen-Rite Corp. Values and Mission Statement.
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Physical Demands:
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time within a Warehouse Setting, completing similar, repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to push/pull carts and lift, pull or push up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able and willing to complete a team lift assist for any products/package exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to reach above shoulder level frequently.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where temperatures vary with the seasons.
  • Must be able to regularly use warehouse equipment such as step stools, ladders and other tools to assist to retrieve products above ground level.
  • Able to work around equipment, forklifts, large trucks, and loud noise.
  • Be able to use and work with a computer, and other technology that regularly requires you to be within 20 inches of a computer/electronic screen.
