We are currently seeking a full time Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to our hospice patients in Contra Costa and Alameda counties. *MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE*By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed.
- Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation.
- Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen.
- Assist with prescribed exercises as directed.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Current certification to practice as a Home Health Aide in the State of California.
- Current California Driver's License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
