This role is a pivotal position in our organization, providing leadership and oversight to our nursing team, and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. The ADON will be responsible for assisting with the management of our hospice care programs, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.Responsibilities:The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:1. Assisting in the management and supervision of all aspects of the hospice nursing department.2. Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations related to hospice care.3. Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the nursing department.4. Providing guidance and support to the nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.5. Collaborating with the Director of Nursing and other members of the leadership team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.6. Participating in the development and execution of patient care plans, ensuring that they meet the individual needs of each patient.7. Overseeing the coordination of care with other healthcare providers, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.8. Participating in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff members.9. Assisting in the management of the department budget, including staffing and supply costs.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) position will possess the following qualifications:1.
