You will...
- Demonstrate competency in delivering comprehensive and personalized care to patients and families including (but not limited to) the following: assisting patients with the completion of activities of daily living (ADLs); monitoring vital signs - reporting findings to the appropriate nursing personnel; promoting dignity and comfort at the end of life
- Perform patient care as assigned, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver care to clients both at home and in the community.
- Provide care to patients and families as outlined within the plan of care in a variety of settings including but not limited to patients residence, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities.
- Maintain continuity of patient care by communicating information timely and effectively with all team members providing care to the patient.
- Complete documentation in a timely and accurate fashion, and at the point of care, according to industry standards, conventions and guidelines.
- Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each patient in the delivery of services to them.
- Fully understand all aspects of patients rights, including the right to be free of restraints and free of abuse.
- Responsible for promptly reporting to the clinical office or administrative staff incidents or evidence of resident abuse or violation of residents' rights.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
- Observe patients for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report these changes to appropriate licensed nursing personnel.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the patient, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.

You have...
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Rhode Island or eligible compact state licensure
- 6 months of clinical experience as a CNA
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and car insurance coverage.
