Admission nurses are responsible for orienting new patients to the hospice program, assisting the patient and caregiver with all legal paperwork, and completing a thorough nursing assessment.Qualifications* Good understanding of hospice rules and regulations* 1-2 years of RN experience required* Ability to establish both hospice eligibility and diagnosis when patient is appropriate* Ability to manage time efficiently to balance visits, documentation and meetings* Willingness to travel to meet our patients where they live (private homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, etc.)* Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance* Registered Nursing Licensure in the state of CaliforniaRNSJ
