Description Home Health and Hospice Nursing/Clinical Support Req #: 210 For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) 0 - 1 years of experience is eligible for up to $2,500 (full time) 1+ years of experience eligible for up to $4,000 (full time Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time HHA/CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. This role supports Cumberland County This position normally scheduled (3) 8 hour shifts per week (8am - 5pm) Summary Summary: Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice/Home Care Aide role performs in-home care tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Valid Driver's license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. 3. Experience: One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide preferred.
