TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Hospice RN in Rapid City, South Dakota, 57701 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Hospice Job Specialty: Home Hospice Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-Hour Days Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1.5 years required; open to first-time travelers with experience in home health and hospice License: Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS; Valid Driver's License Must-Have: - Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing - Experience with Oasis, hospice philosophy, infection control practices, wound vacs, wound care, PICC line dressing changes, port access, IV infusions, drains, critical thinking skills, catheter insertion, and drains - Ability to drive at night Job Description: - Manage a caseload of approximately 20-25 patients - Travel requirement: Must live more than 100 miles away from the facility - Serve in one of three primary field locations: Rapid City, Custer/Hill City, or Hot Springs - Work with home health and hospice patients - Utilize the Epic remote charting system for documentation - Receive support from CNAs provided to patients in their homes - Perform phlebotomy and nurse draws lab in home settings - No floating required - Orientation conducted in the field - Participate in weekend rotation every third weekend - Be on-call approximately one 12-hour shift per week - Holiday work expectations discussed during the interview - Scrubs or business casual dress is acceptable Please ensure all submissions comply with the specified criteria and omit any prohibited information. 26152319EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
