The Hospital/ Community Development Associate (HDCA) develops and implements strategies to increase organ and tissue donation in assigned hospitals in the Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network (FLDRN) designated service area (DSA). The HDCA develops and maintains cooperative relationships with hospital staff, coordinates specific hospital development and community events and provides support for day to day hospital development activities throughout the DSA. The HDCA will also participate in community events which support organ and tissue donation. The HDCA supports FLDRN's goals and objectives to maximize organ/tissue donation and actively participates in local, regional and national initiatives to implement best practices in the field of the hospital development in assigned hospitals.
