Become an employed anesthesiologist for an independent and nationally recognized health system, Meritus Health. We are looking for anesthesiologists to help cover our ambulatory surgery centers (ASC(s)). The Anesthesiologist will administer anesthesia, monitor patient vitals, and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia within a medically directed care-team model. This is a W-2 employed position with an industry-leading sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow the anesthesia care team mode. It is important for both the anesthesiologist and CRNA to work together to take care of the patient and each other.
* Administer Anesthesia
* Monitor patient vitals
* Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia
Key Position Details:
* Location: Hagerstown, MD at the Meritus Medical Center and Robinwood Facility
* 3-4 CRNAs per shift
* 10 and 12 hour shift options
* Case types: Mostly general surgery but other cases may be OB, GI, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and minimal Pediatrics
Requirements:
* Education - Graduation from an accredited nursing program. (Required) Graduation from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia. (Required)
* Licensure/Certification - Maryland RN and CRNA license. Must meet the credentialing requirements for MD state licensure, clinical privileges and medical staff membership. DEA certificate. BLS in compliance with policy.
