Location: Lewistown,PA, USA
**Description:**
The individual will be responsible for cleaning hospital rooms in the hospital. Mostly discharges (when someone is discharged and the room is sanitized in between patients). There will be a ton of walking involved so candidate must be comfortable being on their feet all day. They will wipe down equipment, empty trash, sweep floor, and dust. They will clean up spills, mop and swipe down surfaces as needed. There are multiple floors so attention to detail is important.
The employees will use iphones issued by the hospital to get their assignments and work orders for the day. if the employee forgets how to clean something, tutorials can be accessed via the iphones as well. Must have experience working with smart phone technology. The hospital is 4 million sq ft. large, must be able to learn the floor plan within a reasonable amount of time.

Employees in the EHS department work a rotating schedule. All candidates must work every other weekend and every other major holiday (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, etc.)
Preferred experience: previous experience in janitorial work for healthcare, next would be just janitorial work, will consider candidates with manufacturing/distribution with a willingness to transition to healthcare, but need robust lock downs for those who haven't worked in the industry before.
