JOB SUMMARY:
Here at BridgePoint+ Healthcare our Patient Care Technicians - PCT are members of the healthcare team who provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. The Patient Care Technicians - PCT is responsible for various patient care activities and related non-licensed services necessary in caring for the personal safety and comfort of the patient. The Patient Care Technicians - PCT performs procedures requiring specific training in technical skills after completion of competencies established by Nursing Administration.
Patient Care Tech, PCT, P.C.T.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Licenses/Certification: BLS required.
Experience: EMT, Med-Surg Tech, Critical Care Tech, PCT, CNA/GNA preferred. 1 year's acute care or long-term care experience preferred.
