Hospital Public Safety Officer - FT - Varied Shift
: Job Details :

Patrols buildings, parking lots, adjoining areas and off-campus ECMCC facilities to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, patients and property; Operates emergency vehicles; Makes arrests of individuals in violation of the law; Assists staff in controlling and restraining clients under the guidance of professional medical personnel; Observes parking lots and other areas adjoining ECMCC properties with closed-circuit television cameras; Removes disorderly persons from premises; Conducts searches of the facilities as required when threatening situations occur such as bomb threats; Carries defensive weapons with administrative approval such as department issued firearms, handcuffs and other authorized equipment; Provides security for payroll shipments, money draws, vaults containing valuables, money transfers, money transports and other ECMCC property; Performs daily duties such as logging incidents, completes police reports, obtains depositions and witness statements, and completes o...Public Safety, Officer, Police Officer, Hospital, High School, Healthcare, Business Services, Shift
