Additionally, monitor assigned facility cameras.Essential Job Functions* Protect property and lives by patrolling the area* Monitor entrances and exits of building* Regulate and monitor building systems; respond to alarms or calls of distress* In conjunction with legal and compliance investigate thefts and file police reports as needed* Report any infractions or violations to the Administrator on Call* Inspect windows and doors to ensure locks are in place and working* Review video surveillance in conjunction with Hospital Administrator and or senior leadership as needed* Build relationships with the local law enforcement and state police departments* Monthly touch point with Safety DirectorOther Job Functions* Attend all staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required* Perform additional duties as assigned* Travel to all market sites as neededBasic Qualifications* 2+ years of experience as a security officer or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education with comparable knowledge, skills and abilities* De-escalation training preferred* Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication
