Our mission is to save and heal lives.Position Description:This position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision and values of Lifebanc by developing and maintaining a positive donation culture within our service area, thereby assisting in achieving donation goals. Develops, implements and maintains commitment plans: analyzes and reports organ, tissue and eye (O/T/E) data and seeks strategies to improve in areas indicated. Develops and sustains relationships with referring physicians, nursing staff, hospital leadership and other hospital staff in assigned hospitals to achieve performance goals.Essential Functions:Educate and coach staff on organ and tissue donation process to optimize outcomes.Design and conduct professional education programs to meet the needs of assigned hospitals.Create and customize professional education materials for informal and formal presentations, large and small audience educational forums, including slide and PowerPoint presentations, booklets, teaching tools, etc.Provide onsite in-person support to Lifebanc and hospital staff during active cases and/or pending referrals.Utilizes superior customer service skills to identify decision-making individuals who can influence hospital protocols.Conducts individual/department meetings with key hospital staff.Collaborates with key hospital staff members in real-time on all active referrals and/or cases.Completes all required hospital services documentation for assigned hospitals to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.Inputs all hospital related activity via Lifebanc Electronic Medical Records system (EMR).Work with hospital administration to review, revise, and/or create policies to ensure hospital compliance with state and federal statutes.Develops appropriate Commitment plans for assigned hospitals to create and/or maintain positive change in practices related to the entire donation process.Analyzes and responds to medical record review data.Provides training, coaching, and mentoring on hospital services activities to Lifebanc clinical staff.The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, but may include weekday, evening and weekend hours as required by the nature of the position.Primary coverage area is Mahoning County with support coverage to other hospitals in our service area.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.Minimum 4-5 years' work experience in professional environment.2-3 years' experience coaching, training, and mentoring.Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.Ability to assess situations and people and respond in a professional manner, initiate interpersonal interaction with hospital staff and develop ongoing positive relationships while communicating effectively with a wide range of people.The qualified candidate must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.Compensation and BenefitsWhen you join Lifebanc you can expect competitive salaries and a great benefit package.
