Join our committed team and help shape the future we envision.SummaryFaculty Position: HospitalistMoffitt Cancer Center's Department of Internal and Hospital Medicine invites applications for a Hospitalist faculty position. We are a hybrid academic practice affiliated with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have clinical and research experience working within a medical setting and/or an oncology setting.The Hospitalist practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. The Hospitalist provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education. The Chief will allocate the position's effort between clinical, research, educational and administrative activities.The Moffitt Cancer Center is internationally recognized for our focus on personalized cancer care and translational research. With a tradition of excellence that began with the first patient admission in 1986, dedicated Moffitt clinicians, scientists, and staff members have remained committed to excellence in an atmosphere characterized by kindness, caring, and hope.Requirements:Applicants must have a Florida medical license as a M.D. or D.O. or be license eligible and have be certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine or be eligible. Must have an active ACLS certification. The Cancer Center is comprised of a large ambulatory care facility, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, 20 state of the art operating suites, a 30-bed intensive care unit, a high-volume screening program, and a basic science research facility.
