This is a Per diem position that offers a dynamic work environment where you will assist and supplement our Hospitalist Physician staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, working closely with the Hospitalist Physician team.
- Respond promptly to calls from the nursing staff, effectively managing changes in patient conditions.
- Order and interpret tests and images, and prescribe medications as needed.
- Prepare patient discharges, including writing prescriptions, discharge summaries, arranging follow-up appointments, and educating patients and their families.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the Emergency Department.
Requirements: - Qualified and licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in an Hospitalist setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and manage patient care independently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patient education.
