This is a Part Time position that offers a dynamic work environment where you will assist and supplement our Hospitalist Physician staff.Key Responsibilities:Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, working closely with the Hospitalist Physician team.Respond promptly to calls from the nursing staff, effectively managing changes in patient conditions.Order and interpret tests and images, and prescribe medications as needed.Prepare patient discharges, including writing prescriptions, discharge summaries, arranging follow-up appointments, and educating patients and their families.Maintain a high standard of patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the Emergency Department.Requirements:Qualified and licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.Experience in a Hospitalist setting is preferred.Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and manage patient care independently.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patient education.Benefits:Alice Hyde Medical Center offers a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a commitment to work-life balance.
