The Mount Sinai Health System's Hospitalist Division is continuing to grow with Full-time, Part-time and Per Diem positions available for Daytime and Nocturnist positions.
Mount Sinai's Division of Hospital Medicine is strongly committed to providing patient-centered care. The division embraces the mission of Icahn School of Medicine by pursuing an integrate approach to patient care, education, and research. We consider these as essential elements of the art and science of medicine.Hospitalist attendings provide either daytime or nighttime coverage for hospitalist services based on their career interests and scheduling preferences. Responsibilities include coverage of patients on the Medicine units, admissions from the emergency department, medical consultation for other services. In addition to providing direct patient care, the responsibilities include supervision of medical housestaff and allied health personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, etc.).
