The Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking hospitalists to join our expanding programs in Hospital Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center Downtown and Midtown Campuses. Hospitalists will work on both our teaching and direct-care services. Opportunities are available for Nocturnists. Expected rank for all positions will be Assistant Professor, or higher; however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be dependent upon selected candidate's qualifications and experience. We offer an e xcellent salary and benefits package through the State of Maryland. All positions require a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent) and ideal candidates will possess outstanding clinical and organizational skills, the ability to work well in a team setting and a strong commitment to quality patient care. All candidates must be board certified/eligible in internal medicine and eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland.
