The Palace Health and Rehabilitation is seeking Hospitality Aides!!

Summary:

The Hospitality Aide is expected to perform duties in compliance with state and federal regulations and center policies. Employment in this position may lead to training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The Hospitality Aide may not perform direct patient care.

Environment:

Work will be performed primarily indoors at a long-term healthcare facility, throughout all areas, including in resident rooms, and on carpeted and/or tiled floors. Work will also be performed routinely around other co-workers, healthcare staff, residents, and guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Passing water and Changing linen
    • Organizing equipment and changing batteries on lifts
    • Helping with other minor tasks around the unit
    • Answering call lights and helping residents answer questions
    • 1:1 with residents
    • Other tasks assigned by designated staff
    • Talking with residents and getting to know them

Job Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
    • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Show a desire to learn and help others
    • Be compassionate, hardworking, and empathetic
    • Skill at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.
