DescriptionThe Center for Discovery is seeking a full time Housekeeping & Hospitality Associate, who will oversee and handle the housekeeping duties for our multiple guest residential locations in Hurleyville and Harris, NY and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of The Center's Michael Ritchie Big Barn. The person hired for this role will report and work directly with the Strategic Outreach and Partnerships team and will perform various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing. They will also handle laundry services such as washing, ironing, folding, and storing linens, towels, bedding, tablecloths, and napkins. They will take part in managing supply orders, supervising external service providers, and actively contributing to event setup as well as cleanup efforts alongside our environmental management team. Additionally, this position will report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate departments and ensure all cleaning and hospitality supplies are stocked. Flexibility is crucial, with occasional weekend and night availability expected.
