This position involves analyzing project specifications, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with project managers to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and overhead
- Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to align on project budgets
- Monitor project costs and assist in financial forecasting
- Maintain a database of costs and market trends for future reference
- Provide support during the bidding process and negotiate contracts as necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial or hospitality sectors
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
