Duties & Responsibilities● Daily check-in with reservation software to prepare lodging spaces for guests
● Ensure all lodgings and public areas are kept clean and according to standards
● Become an expert in linen cleaning, folding, inventory, and control
● Setup and strip all luxury tents according to linen standards
● Use industrial laundry machines to clean all linens
● Correctly clean bathroom and shower house facilities
● Maintain grounds around camp to standard (pulling weeds)
● Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
● Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training● 18 years of age or older
● Hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred
● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
● Be or become a registered member of Scouting America
Performance Results● Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant
● Contribute at least one improvement to Family Adventure Camp program operations
● Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards form staff or participants
● Compete contract period with 2-4 positive experiences
Physical Requirements● Up to 8 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
● Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements
