PAY RATE: $16.62 Hourly (Pay is negotiable based on experience)
Hours for this position vary:
- Sunday: 12:30pm-8:30pm
- Monday through Thursday: 5am-10:00am and 4pm-7:00pm
Coordinates and oversees all areas of food service kitchen, including one-year volunteers and short-term volunteers serving in the kitchen while showing hospitality to guests.
Hosts, facilitates, and cooks for mission groups, WorkFest, YouthFest, retreats, and other CAP functions as needed.
Coordinates incoming short-term kitchen volunteers and one-year volunteers serving as cooks/hosts while creating a fun and engaging atmosphere to foster a love for serving in the kitchen, creating a pipeline of volunteers needed to serve larger groups (i.e., Fests).
Coordinates scheduling/maintenance work orders and space utilization for assigned location, serving as Safety Monitor for the assigned building.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent General Studies Required
- 3 or more years of successful experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience
- Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required
- Non-Contagious TB Test Result Required
- CPR and First Aid (or ability to obtain) Required
- CAP Driving Certification (or Ability to Obtain) Required
- Food Handler Required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk
- Lift 48 lb from floor and carry 40 ft and place on shelf at 36 inches
- Lift 18 lb from floor to shelf at 102 inches, using a step ladder if needed
- Push with 45 lb of force for 5 ft
- Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance
- Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses
- Have good hearing capabilities
