Job Description:
The Hospitality Manager will work collaboratively with the Director of Guest Experience to create, oversee, and manage daily amenity operations, tenant events and meeting room services at The Plaza. As a successful MetroNational representative, the Hospitality Manager will have a passion for delivering outstanding service with an ability to build strong tenant relationships as they create and implement a successful amenity program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This Manager will have the primary responsibility for designing, contracting, and implementing events, meetings and experiences at The Plaza successfully executing each against approved designs, budgets and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with tenants, Director of Guest Experience and property management to create experiences and meetings which are elevated and successful.
  • Acquire an understanding of tenant interests and needs by building and cultivating tenant relationships.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts... Oversee all aspects of events and experiences to deliver elevated tenant and guest satisfaction.
  • Meeting room management involves timely responses to inquiries, contracting, the overseeing of day-to-day meeting operations, timely submission of required reporting and meeting planner/contact follow-up to confirm exceptional tenant satisfaction.
  • Based on tenant and guest feedback, innovate, and adapt the amenity program to align with their evolving interests and needs.
  • Develop and streamline strategies to enhance the tenant and guest experiences and overall service quality.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a warm, fun, and welcoming atmosphere at The Plaza.
  • Create and circulate event collateral which will entice participation and align with MetroNational standards.
  • Provide weekly amenity programming updates to onsite staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to confirm cleanliness, functionality and maintenance of public areas and meeting rooms.
  • Fulfill all MetroNational contract and legal requirements associated with meetings, events, and experiences.
RequirementsEDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree (BA/BAS) from four-year college or university. 5+ years' related experience and/or trainingSKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to solidify positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • A natural connector/networker; someone who is passionate about meeting and talking to tenants, guests and local organizations to help build connections and future business growth.

  • Ability to author reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from tenants, guests and management.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate effectively to tenants, guests, local organizations, vendors, and employees.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
