Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE:

Is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for various roles within the hospitality industry. This includes sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process. The recruiter will play a key role in building a strong employer brand and providing a positive candidate experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future openings.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews with candidates, assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage candidate records and track progress using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in creating compelling job descriptions and postings.
  • Facilitate the decision-making process by providing hiring managers with detailed candidate evaluations and recommendations.
  • Promote the company s brand and culture to potential candidates.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and other networking opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and industry associations to enhance the talent pipeline.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPIERENCE AND SKILLS

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
