The magnificent clubhouse, which emulates the classic British-Colonial style that Williamsburg is renowned for, provides its guests with unsurpassed hospitality and service when dining or entertaining family, friends and clients. As a Host at Colonial Heritage Club, you'll be the face of our dining venue and responsible for our members' and guests' experiences. Host responsibilities include Assisting with the preparation and maintaining cleanliness at all times. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we'd like to meet you! Compensation: Starting at $12.00/hr This position is part-time Responsibilities:
  • Greets guests upon arrival; assists with seating as needed
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests with a friendly smile.
  • Be familiar with the Club services/features, and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Assist in resolving guest complaints, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all work areas.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year experience in a food service operation and or customer service role.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to balance individual and teamwork responsibilities.
