**Description**
The Cashier position is responsible for providing excellent customer service skills, and handling transactions through a cash register. Responsibilities also include keeping the area clean, and stocking items as needed throughout the shift.
**Essential Functions:**
* Greets and welcomes all guests ensuring a memorable experience.
* Operates the cash register, daily records and the proper tendering of all transactions.
* Maintains a clean and orderly register area.
* Identifies prices of all goods.
* Answers guests questions and provide information about the establishment as needed.
* Monitors checkout stations to ensure that they have adequate cash available.
* Balances cash register receipts and guest checks for team members shift.
* Prepares the register for the next shift (stocking receipt paper, stocking supplies)
Performs other tasks as assigned.
**Knowledge/Work Experience:**
* Must be 18 years or older
* High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
* Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
