Shuka is an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of Soho. We focus on responsibly and locally sourced ingredients with a nod to seasonality. Chef Ayesha Nurdjaja brings an exciting and dynamic take on some of her favorite dishes inspired by her extensive travels. We serve lunch, dinner and brunch. We are looking for an experienced Host that likes fast paced environments along with great energy! We seek responsible, kind, hardworking individuals, with a positive and professional attitude and work-ethic. - Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
- Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
- Giving guests accurate wait time estimates
- Responsible for knowing restaurant and company information, including, but not limited to, hours of operations, directions, awareness of neighborhood, and sister properties.
- Be aware of regular guests/VIPs
- Organized and efficient
- Excellent communicator with the bar, service, kitchen and management staff.
- Understand all of the restaurants main dining room seating and configurations
- Understanding that we require a positive and professional attitude in the workplace
