Set a high standard for hospitality, leading by exampleRun the door with the support of the General ManagerResponsible for managing the reservation book/wait listProvide accurate wait timesProactively communicate with guests to help ensure the flow of service in our food halls runs smoothly while also providing the best guest experience possible Oversee that all proper information is distributed to kitchen, floor staff and FOH managersMaintain a clean and organized work stationKnow basic restaurant information: credit cards we accept, hours of operation, subways, reservation guidelines, and third party delivery ordersHOSPITALITY
Offering a warm and sincere welcome with consistent positive guest interactions (ie answering questions, providing updates)Overseeing the flow of seating across server stations to ensure best possible guest experience with timely service and foodTaking an active interest in getting to know our guests and cultivating regularsThanking each guest on the way out with a fond farewellSALES & MARKETING
Managing the reservation book/wait list to maximize revenueAccurately quoting wait times and routinely grooming the reservation book to maximize coversAble to provide high level information regarding our catering and events offerings and how to inquire after a booking with our teamOPERATIONS
Maintain constant door presence to monitor flow of serviceAssist in coordinating service and preparation for shift (floor plan, seating strategy, VIP guest recognition, pre-shift meeting notes)Work closely with the floor team to execute a smooth operationEXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years of experience in a comparable position/industryREQUIREMENTS
Must be able to fluently read, write and speak EnglishExcellent hospitality skills, warmth, empathy and engagement in the guest experienceExcellent multi-tasking ability and the ability to remain calm under pressureProfessional appearance, excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to remain flexible, to accommodate special and unplanned situationsStrong computer/technology skillsStrong attention to detail, organization and follow-through Sensitivity to confidential matters is requiredPHYSICAL ABILITIES
Ability to frequently bend, lift and carry items weighing up to 45 poundsAbility to remain standing and on floor during the entire shift (up to 7 hours)Ability to handle a fast paced environmentAbility to bend and stoop to grasp objectsAbility to climb up and down stairs
