This is an onsite position within the mechanical and HVAC department. Senior Estimator Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide competitive job estimates for Project Managers.
- Assess and price revisions and changes on ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to prepare project proposals and bids.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare reports for project progress and budget planning.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to create accurate and detailed cost estimates.
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights on cost management and estimation.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed project schedules and timelines.
- Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and project requirements.
Senior Estimator Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in industrial construction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
