Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Senior Estimator for a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing company in Piedmont, SC. This is an onsite position within the mechanical and HVAC department. Offering a competitive salary of up to $115,000 per year, depending on experience, this role also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life insurance, and 401K. Senior Estimator Responsibilities:
  • Develop and provide competitive job estimates for Project Managers.
  • Assess and price revisions and changes on ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to prepare project proposals and bids.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Conduct cost analysis and prepare reports for project progress and budget planning.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to create accurate and detailed cost estimates.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide insights on cost management and estimation.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed project schedules and timelines.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and project requirements.
Senior Estimator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in industrial construction.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
