Position Summary This job is more than just a Host It is an opportunity to act as a brand ambassador for bridging cultures through food.Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education, quality customer service, and making sure they have a positive experience at our restaurant! We are counting on you to be an extension of our brand. Job Responsibilities:
  • Start off the guest experience by warmly welcoming guests in a timely, friendly and professional manner. Thank guests on their way out to complete the guest experience
  • Strategically seat parties to manage the flow of the restaurant, balancing walk-in customers, delivery and phone orders as necessary
  • Educate, interact and connect with our guests through the food, ingredients and culture
  • Set the ambiance (music, lights, cleanliness, etc) of the dining room for an enjoyable and memorable guest experience
  • Be personable, always greet patrons, engage with a positive attitude and make an effort to remember regulars
  • Be a team player, and work together with your team to foster a healthy and warm atmosphere
  • Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
  • Support and assist with bussing and resetting tables
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Team Player + Positive Attitude
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and positive interpersonal skills required
  • 6+ months experience as a Host
  • Service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to acquire a California Food Handler's, Sexual Harassment Certification & Responsible Beverage Service Certification (before or within 2 weeks of hiring)
  • Bilingual is a plus
