- Strong, upbeat and positive personality
- Warmly greet all guests as they walk in the door and thank them and wish them well as they leave
- Upon arriving, the host should look through the day's reservations and acknowledge / react to any special notes, ironing out plans to accommodate guest needs/celebrations
- The ability to communicate with management and Chefs
- Maintain proper phone etiquette, following established protocols
- Keep an organized host stand, clean and tidy as necessary
- Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail
- Passion for food, beverage and hospitality
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
