Are you ready to join us on this flavorful journey?Hosts are responsible for greeting and seating incoming tables, keeping accurate counts of guests in the restaurant, and rotating between servers for seating priority. Hosts are the first point of contact, so a positive, happy attitude is a requirement.RequirementsExperience: Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational and multitasking abilities; proficiency with reservation and seating software is a plus; ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism; basic math skills for managing waitlists and reservations.Personal Attributes: Friendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanor; professional appearance and attitude; strong attention to detail; ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliability and punctuality; ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; capability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Duties and Responsibilities: Greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leave; manage the waitlist and seating chart efficiently; escort guests to their tables and provide menus; answer phone calls and handle reservations and inquiries; communicate guest preferences and special requests to servers and kitchen staff; assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area; monitor dining room activity to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction; provide accurate wait time estimates to guests; handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and seek assistance from management when necessary.#J-18808-Ljbffr
