Host/HostessThe Bowery Group is seeking a responsible, kind, and hardworking individual with a positive and professional attitude to join as a Host/Hostess! Our ideal candidates will bring genuine passion for service, hospitality, and enjoy working in a fast paced work environment. Candidates must have:-A minimum of 1 year working in Hospitality or Guest Services, preferably in NYC-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Experience with OpenTable & Resy -Scheduling flexibility, willing to work mornings, nights, weekends, or holidays-Friendly outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction-Ability to act with grace and professionalism under pressure -Patience, empathy and a the ability to be a courteous listener-A can-do attitude in response to guest requests -Passion for restaurants, food and hospitality, and all of the tasks required to excel in this position-An eye for detail and care in regards to the cleanliness and the appearance of the restaurant-Work well in teams and have a commitment working cohesively with all restaurant staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness Full Time and part-time opportunities are available The Bowery Group offers a competitive compensation package including transit benefits and complimentary fitness classes.
