Collegiate Hotel Group® is seeking a Food Runner to join and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome our guests
- Deliver food orders for guests based on restaurant needs
- Assists with bussing and resetting tables throughout service
- Thoroughly understands menu offerings and can speak to each item knowledgeably to customers
- Ensure you are acquainted with the art and decor in the hotel and be able to speak on them.
- Be a spokesperson for the Community and be able to know local spots to recommend.
- Complete side work duties
- Assists wait staff as needed
- Follow uniform and grooming specifications
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred
- Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable)
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Able to work flexible hours and shifts
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task
