We are currently searching for an **Assistant General Manager** who will serve our **Hampton Inn by Hilton hotel located in Lancaster, PA.** The Assistant General Manager assists in and shares responsibility for all areas of the hotel's operations, including Front Desk, Breakfast and Housekeeping.

**The successful candidate will possess:**

* High School diploma or GED, required

* Bachelors degree in hotel/restaurant management or business management, preferred

* Minimum of 3 years hotel operations experience, required

* Exceptional interpersonal skills with a history of top notch customer service

* Previous Hilton Brand experience, preferred

* Valid Driver's License, required

* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Essential Job Functions:**

* Assists in selection, training and development of hotel operations staff

* Handles normal tasks associated with the front desk. i.e. checking-in of guests, reservations, guest inquires etc.

* Responsible for inventory control and appearance of the hotel Suite Shop

* Maximizes room revenue and occupancy levels through suggestive selling

* Responsible for creating weekly schedule for all hourly hotel staff

* Handles all accounting functions of the hotel

* Represents the hotel as the manager on duty, in the absence of the General Manager

* Assists in monitoring and ensuring that all company and brand policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all hotel guests and co-workers
