Crestview Management, a managing company of Philadelphia Marriott West Hotel, is looking for Catering Sales Manager for it's property located at West Conshohocken, PA.

Job Description

The Hotel Catering Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by selling catering services to clients. They will work closely with the hotel's food and beverage team to ensure that all events are executed flawlessly and to the client's satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain relationships with clients to generate new and repeat business.

* Meet with clients to understand their needs and provide customized catering solutions.

* Coordinate with the hotel's Food and Beverage and Banquet team to ensure that all events are executed flawlessly.

* Prepare and review proposals and contracts for clients to ensure expectations were met

* Manage the catering sales process from start to finish, including follow-up and post-event evaluation.

* Ensuring a prompt and professional response and follow-up to clientele's inquiries

* Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate new business.

* Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or any related field

* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in catering sales, preferably in a hotel setting

* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain composure under pressure

* Must be able to work longer hours if needed including evenings, weekends or holidays.

* Requires thorough knowledge of the practices and procedures of the catering, food & beverage and hospitality

* Must possess communication skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence professionals and/or hotel guests.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel and catering software.
