**Job Title: Hotel Front Desk Agent (3 PM - 11 PM Shift)****Location:** Hampton Inn Fishkill , NY**Position Type:** Full-Time / Part-Time**Reports To:** Front Office Manager**Job Summary:**We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Agent for our evening shift from 3 PM to 11 PM. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes, respond to guest inquiries, and maintain the front desk area in a welcoming manner. This role necessitates strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for hospitality.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Guest Services:** - Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor. - Provide timely and courteous assistance to guests during check-in and check-out procedures. - Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and efficiently.- **Reservation Management:** - Manage room bookings and reservations using the hotel's property management system (PMS). - Process cancellations, modifications, and special requests as needed.- **Billing and Payments:** - Prepare and present accurate bills to guests upon check-out. - Process payments and handle cash transactions, ensuring adherence to hotel policies.- **Communication:** - Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and room availability. - Communicate effectively with the management regarding guest feedback and any issues that arise.- **Safety and Security:** - Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property. - Manage key control procedures and monitor access to guest areas.- **Administrative Tasks:** - Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. - Perform administrative duties including filing, record-keeping, and handling correspondence.- **Customer Engagement:** - Promote hotel amenities and services to guests. - Assist guests with local recommendations, directions, and bookings (e.g., dining, transportation, attractions).**Qualifications:**- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Proficient in using computer systems and hotel software (PMS experience preferred).- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.**Physical Requirements:**- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.**What We Offer:**- Competitive pay and benefits package.- Opportunities for growth and career advancement within the company.- A positive and supportive work environment.If you have a passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable experiences for our guests, we encourage you to apply for the Hotel Front Desk Agent position.
