Either employment or independent contractor. Must have a minimum of 2 years handyman experience or hotel maintenance position. This position reports to the Assistant General Manager. This position plays a key role in the general maintenance and condition of the hotel facilities which includes 74 guestrooms, a restaurant, and 2 conference centers. Job Requirements: * Flexibility with schedule with ability to work weekends and both morning and afternoon shifts as needed. * Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems * Good written and verbal communication skills * Customer Service Oriented * Team Player * Expected to do the schedules for the Maintenance Department. * Ability to multitask and complete projects as assigned on a timely basis. Job Duties: * Maintenance tasks which include electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, cleaning, landscaping, and other miscellaneous tasks, normally associated with hotel operations. * Conduct routine preventative maintenance to guestrooms and public spaces. * Respond to service requests for guestrooms. * Handle projects as assigned by management.
