Description Our busy hotels are seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance professional to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities •Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria •Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads •React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts •Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment •Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks Qualifications •Drug and background check is required •Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED •The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required •Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software •Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary •Driver's license and outstanding driving record is necessary •You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role
