Job Description
The Hotel Reservations/Sales Program Assistant reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for the overall administrative support of the catering and sales department. They will work with the Director of Sales and the Sales and Catering managers and hotel associates to ensure the effectiveness and overall success of the department. The Sales Program Assistant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying The Blackwell Inn and Pfahl Conference Center. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and maintain work area in a professional, orderly manner; Present a positive company image through all phases of community and/or client/guest interaction; Interface positively with other departments, offering assistance when needed; Provide administrative support; Attends and take minutes during appropriate staff meetings; Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problem with go; Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; Work with minimal supervision; Maintain confidentiality of departmental information and pertinent hotel data.
This is a full-time hands-on position for an operation open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and may require evenings, weekends and holidays.
Minimum Required Qualification
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
