Shine Bright.We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Housekeeping Team.We are committed to providing you with:• Highly competitive wages• An exceptional benefit plan for eligible associates & your family members• 401K matching program for eligible associates• Flexible scheduling to allow you to focus on what is important to you• Hotel Room Discounts with the Marriott Brand Worldwide and with our Crescent managed properties in North America for you and your family members• Tuition Reimbursement$500 Sign-On BonusTo qualify for this bonus, the associate must be employed with the Chicago Marriott Suites Deerfield in good standing.The bonus will be paid after associate has completed 90 days of continuous employment.If employment is terminated for any reason before the 90-day mark, the bonus will not be paid.Here is what you will be doing each day:Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.Comply with attendance rules, be available to work on a regular basis and perform any other job-related duties as assigned.Does it sound like you?You have previous experience in a similar position in a hotel is a plus. You have a keen eye for detail and respect the importance that impeccably clean guest room and supplies have in a hotel. You don't shy away from physical work.
