Performs routine duties in the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms.
Cleans and stocks maid cart with necessary supplies daily. Clean vacuum cleaner and change bags as needed.
Strips all beds of sheets and pillow cases daily. Removes bed pads, blankets and bedspreads if soiled.
Makes beds neatly with fresh, clean sheets and pillow cases; picks up all trash on floor; removes and empties trash bags; cleans mirrors and shelves; dusts and polishes furniture; wipes door frames with damp cloth; dusts light fixtures, window sills and base boards; ensures furniture is arranged properly.
Vacuums guest rooms.
Cleans bathrooms - scrubbing basin, bathtub, toilet and tile floor with appropriate cleanser. Completes by disinfecting surfaces and wiping dry.
Replenishes supplies, towels, and amenities. Places proper quantities of pens, stationery, and tissue in room according to franchise standards.
Reports status of rooms as completed to the inspectress.
Reports any unusual condition of room or furniture to executive housekeeper immediately.
Other duties as assigned by Executive Housekeeper or as business and demand dictates.
Qualifications and Skills needed:
High school diploma preferred but not required.
Positive attitude and guest service oriented.
Team player.
