Description:Job Title: Hourly Manager aka Associate Team Leader Department: OperationsReports to: Managing Partner, Area DirectorPosition Summary: The Hourly Manager's primary duty is the management of the restaurant location to which that manager is assigned, with a particular emphasis on the management and oversight of that location's Team Members. They customarily and regularly participate with the Managing Partner in directing the work of the team of their restaurant location, which typically consists of 40 or more full-time Team Members. They are expected to work on their feet a minimum of 8 hours per shift and should be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.Requirements:Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Coaching, motivating, and continuous training of all hourly Team Members. Participating with the Managing Partner and fellow managers in setting the direction of the restaurant location with Kerbey Lane Cafe's Core Values in mind. Directing the work of hourly Team Members. Disciplining hourly Team Members when necessary. Participating with the Managing Partner in setting the overall direction and goals of the restaurant location. Participating with the Managing Partner in ordering food and supplies necessary for the functioning of the restaurant. Participating with the Managing Partner in controlling food and supply inventory. Participating with the Managing Partner in overseeing the safety of all Team Members. Participating with the Managing Partner in providing direct supervision, guidance, and training to the Team Members at their restaurant location. Fielding guest feedback and input. Facilitating, receiving and storage of orders. Ensure all Kerbey Lane Cafe policies and procedures are always adhered to. Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances require. Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety on all levels. Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts. Managing staff and providing them with feedback. Follow Managing Partner's instructions and suggestions regarding their tasks. Communicates with expediters, hosts, bussers, and Store Leaders and assists in an entire team effort. All other duties as directed, including having fun with our guests and your co-workers. Essential Physical Requirements: Walks and stands during entire shift Reaches, bends, lifts, shakes, stirs, carries, and wipes. Must have the ability to frequently lift and carry bus tubs, trays, and other objects weighing 40 pounds or more. Must be age 18 or over to serve/sell alcohol according to State regulationsAdditional Info:Knowledge and Skills: Food Handler Certified by State of Texas and city which location is in TABC Certification
