DescriptionHouse Advocate at Recovering Hope Treatment CenterLocation: Mora, MNJob Type: Full-Time (Sunday-Thursday Block Schedule)Schedule: Overnight ShiftsPay: $18.00 - $24.19 per hour, with additional shift differentials for weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts. As a House Advocate, you will provide critical support to women and families recovering from substance use disorders, offering compassion, stability, and encouragement every step of the way.What You'll Do:
  • Support Recovery: Assist clients with daily activities, helping them navigate their recovery journey with dignity and respect.
  • Be a Guiding Presence: Act as a positive role model, offering supervision, redirection, and de-escalating conflicts when necessary.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure client well-being through medication administration, regular room checks, and maintaining a secure and clean environment.
  • Facilitate Family Connections: Manage visiting hours, encourage client engagement, and support family involvement.
  • Ensure Smooth Operations: Help with everything from room preparation and light maintenance to food prep and keeping the facility clean and safe.
You'll also provide essential care like meal prep, administer medications, and keep the facility running smoothly while monitoring client progress. From assisting with intake to ensuring the safety of the building, your role is critical in creating a supportive environment where clients can thrive.What We're Looking For:
  • Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to pass a background check, and experience with medication administration (training provided).
  • Skills: Comfortable using computers, tablets, and medical records systems for documentation.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old per residential licensure requirements.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to operate office equipment and communicate clearly with clients and staff.
  • Frequent movement throughout the facility to monitor and maintain areas.
