Experience in dealing with sensitive personnel issues, working with and knowledge of psychiatric inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents, adults, chemically dependent and/or dually diagnosed patients, and previous charge/management experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret instructions, documents and follow procedures. Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively with patients and their families, employees and public. Ability to follow and provide instructions regarding policies and procedures. Reasoning Ability: Ability to make decisions considering the following: the patient and his/her family, the Hospital, staff resources, various governmental regulations and current policies and procedures Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to remain calm and positive in stressful situations, working as a team member, and be fair, firm consistent and caring. Ability to be assertive with proven leadership and communications skills. Certificates, License, Registration: Licensed Registered Nurse. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to work flexible hours.
