**Responsibilities**

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is the leading behavioral health treatment facility in Central Pennsylvania. Located just minutes outside State College, PA on a beautiful 52-acre campus, with 119 beds, The Meadows is dedicated to providing comprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults. We are licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC). The Meadows is committed to providing individuals and their families the hope of recovery through an environment conducive to wellness, strength-based programming, and highly competent staff.

The Meadows is seeking a full time **Housekeeper** to join our Environmental Services team. This full time position is eligible for our highly competitive enefits offerings and generous paid time off program. Pay is commensurate with experience. This is an Evening Shift position: 2pm -10:30pm. Not interested in full time, contact Human Resources at 814-###-#### to discuss per diem opportunities.

**Housekeeper Responsibilities include:**

Use of cleaning products, tools, and equipment

Thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, window sills, and related in patient rooms and common areas

Thorough cleaning of restrooms and restock paper products per guidelines

Emptying of trash

Gather soiled linens; restock linen closet

Follow all infection control and environmental safety protocols

Full time Housekeeper positions are scheduled for 40 hours per week. This position will participate in a weekend coverage rotation-scheduled approximately one weekend per month.

**Qualifications**

This position requires:

* A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.

* Six months experience working as an environmental services team member, preferably in a heath care environment.

* Excellent communication and time management skills.

* Reliable attendance to work profile.

* Commitment to customer service to patients, visitors, and staff of The Meadows.
