In this role you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment within the medical center. This role ensures that all areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms, meet infection control standards and provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.Typical ScheduleMonday thru Friday 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM and one weekend per month.Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, waiting areas, and restrooms.
- Disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of infections.
- Dispose of waste and biohazard materials according to established protocols.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and seasonal deep cleaning as needed.
- Respond to requests for cleaning and maintain a positive attitude towards patients and staff.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

- Able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals.
- Strength, dexterity and stamina to use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel, grasp, open containers and to operate equipment.
